As a competitor wouldn't you think that ARIK GILBERT would have had this game circled on his calender??? You're literally the #1 TE recruit in the nation and the highest graded TE recruit of ALL-TIME! Your set to go up against the KLYE PITTS. Currently the Nations best TE! Wouldn't the competitor in you be absolutely psyched to play this game vs FLorida? You are already having a great season in your own right. Had the chance as a TRUE Freshmen to break the LSU receiving record for a Tight End. I can't believe of all games he dipping out when he has a chance to go up against Kyle Pitts. Maybe he could have went out there to Gainsville and had a better outing than Pitts. I can't believe this kid is ducking out now of all games. Mental issues or homesick or whatever. You don't quit on your teammates and you DONT quit when you have a chance to put your skill set up on display vs another TE that you should be striving to be or better than! Un-Fn-REAL to me. No spine.

I think you sound crazy with all your caps locking, but I don’t disagree.

Pitts will finish with 100+ yards and a TD or 2, catching passes from a Heisman finalist. A Gilbert would have likely had a half dozen targets from freshman quarterbacks in a crap offense.
Not much to compare.
We were told what an incredible weapon he would be but we lost our QB, the O-line sucks and E’s offense is predictable and stale.

I knew some idiot would make this exact comment

Don't be a clown. You know exactly what I meant. Maybe you just never played competitive sports before. No S*** Sherlock. Of course they don't. The fact is they are both considered elite Tight ends. If you had any competitive bone in your body I'd think that you'd want to compete agaisnt Pitts.

Gilbert is being recruited right now and momma is in town because if Gilbert goes she owes someone a lot of money. Gilbert did not come cheap.

Follow the money. Always follow the money.
