As did Burrows in 2019

When I look at 2022 JD5 vs 2023 JD5, that improvement had to come from somewhere

So eerily similar to 2019 and the credit that Joe Brady was receiving for a historic season with ELITE talent. Denbrock has more history on his side of being a fine OC in CFB, however.

Except that Joe Brady actually brought in a new scheme and changed the offensive philosophy in 2019, unlike Denbrock.

People who can’t see a difference in the scheme from 2018 to 2019 eat paste.

The development of JD was nuts and I think he had a big hand in that.
Maybe half a pinky finger.

Sloan had 9 and a half fingers in JD5's explosion after the Florida State game.

what he did to suddenly make the LIGHT COME ON.

QB Coach Sloan.

So many of these people are delusional. There is no play Denbrock ran where Daniels averaged 8.4 yards per carry. We did not run a read option offense. I've actually never seen a QB averaged over 8 yards per carry outside of that kid that played at Arizona a few years back, and he wasn't a good passer.

Daniels threw perfect passes to WRs that made DBs look like trash.

Denbrock ran that Cincinnati offense for five years and in the final year his QB was great, but nowhere near elite (3334 pass yards 8.4 ypa 64.3% 30 TD 8 int in 14 games). He had 335 rush yards and 6 TDs. He had 3 straight mediocre starting years at QB before that final year.

Most of the big plays were improvised by the best player in college football. Add two fantastic receivers, and there is our offense.
Rb's average behind an average OLine. that was proven more than once inside the opponents 5 yd line, first down and no score...why because the field was condensed and didn't give JD5 and receivers enough room to separate. Power football was not our best strength. Oline had some good players and some holes. Olines are only as good as the weakest link, and we had some.
Denbrock was the recipient of an otherworldly QB...and it is going to make him a lot of money, but he will never have the same success anywhere again.
