How can you fire a HC who won the NC two seasons ago? ESPECIALLY when the two seasons following the NC win were BOTH winning seasons and bowl game appearances?
You Nega-Tigers need to answer these questions before anybody takes your rants seriously.
Please speak your mind. You are among friends
because the game of college football has changed drastically from the charlie mac days .. when your head coach is making $3.5 million a year with a $1.5 million staff, with luxury boxes and club seats to fill to play that exorbinant salary .. it is no longer JUST about winning seasons ... just like the polls have changed over the last 10 years and it is no longer IF you win, but HOW you win .. it is the same in the coaching circles ... a pissed off fan base equals empty seats, fewer corporate dollars, etc. ... it is a business now ..

I've been trying my best to give Les Miles the bennefit of the doubt. I have keep the hope, until this past Saturday. There have been issues all year surrounding his capability of coaching. This Saturday answered all the questions enough for me. He is not a national contentder. He has been riding on Saban, if not with Saban's team, but with the recruiting potential for LSU Saban set for the school. He should be gone. He has a losing SEC record. He is being paid muti-millions and he can't manage the time clock any better than this past Saturday. The talent on the team got us to the eight yard-line, not the coaching.
This is what Les deserved after this past weekend, especially after throwing Jordan Jefferson under the bus by blaming it on him.

PM to msutiger-
Can you put together a 3-4 minuted DVD of Miles's greatest hits?
This way if the whole "who would take a job that just ran off a coach two years from the BCS title" arrises we can just pop it in a portable DVD player and they will understand.

First, he must(a) fire Crowton and hire an OC who can teach a solid offensive scheme that isn't so complicated nobody can grasp it
Please someone explain to me what is so damn complicated about the option, bubble screens, flat passes, dives. Cause this is the majority of our offense, every team has these plays in their playbook and no other offense has problems running them. I have not seen some grand difficult to grasp offense, maybe it is just the fact that our OC and Head Coach do not know how to put in a decent offensive scheme against the oppositions defense. That, coupled with the fact that everytime we do find something that works we stop doing it.
