Baseball, no doubt. He's a lefty with nasty stuff. If you're a lefty and have decent stuff and can throw strikes, you got a career in baseball.

He's a great athlete. How about Chad playing whatever he wants to? I don't think that he needs our help to decide.

+1
(Think about major league pitchers like Jesse Orosco: over 20+ yr career as Left handed specialist relief pitcher...
...never over-powering but was needed for special matchups in middle/late relief)

Better chance to make it to the (highest) professional level - football.
Better chance to make more money: baseball

Dreadlocks of Death!!!! I'd hate to be on the recieving end of one of his 90+ mile an hour fastballs and sure as heck wouldn't want to be on the other end of one of his hits!!! (baseball or football).

i think chad's best bet would be to give up baseball, play great college football for 2 more years, and in the top 10 in the NFL draft, and be set for life financially. if he did baseball, he would spend 2-3 years in the minors, then have to play great for a few years before he ever made anything near first round NFL money. his best bet is football IMO

Too early to make that decision.

I love college football, and would personally rather watch Chad play football at LSU, and then see him in NFL...
(However, Unlike Pro Baseball, NFL contracts for players are NEVER guaranteed,
meaning that you can be cut after an injury and no more $$. Only signing bonus is guaranteed money in NFL...)

Whats stopping him from doing both?

If I had Chad Jones talent in baseball and footbal, id play baseball

All things being equal, an athlete should chose baseball. Especially a left handed pitcher, who can pitch forever (SEE Orosco, Jesse). That said, things are not equal with Jones. He is a far superior football player to baseball player. He should play football.
