I agree with everything you said except “sitting until he loses 15 lbs…”.
He’s been here all of fall semester, has access to nutrition coaching, strength and conditioning etc. he is 300lbs+ with 40% bodyfat, and it’s pure laziness keeping him there.

All these nutritionists can’t get him down to 265? Would play and feel so much better.
He has access to nutritionist, and strength and conditioning, coaching…. But he has to control his own fork. No one else can give him discipline….

If you can't see that's he's at a huge disadvantage running the base paths, then you're blind. No one else on the team would have gotten thrown out on that throw from left field to third last night.
Oh no doubt about that lol. But he’s 2nd on the team in OBP on a team desperate for guys to get on base at the moment. Zero reason he should move from the lineup.

He's more likely to hit into a double play than anyone else on the team.
And yet the numbers do not back that up.

He will get thrown out on a liner to right field this year. Not to mention, he has very limited range to his left and right trying to field ground balls in his direction.
Once again the numbers do not back that up. He has been far down on the list on our defensive issues. Catcher, second base, surprisingly right field, and left field (hopefully Stanfield comes back and remedies that) have been more the issue in the field.

Yorke has a lot of talent and, therefore, had considerable hype coming into the season. The second a player like that strikes out or duffs one in the field, emotionally immature vaginas take over the board.

What?!?! A 300 lb baseball player is lazy??

Until we figure out defense at 2B and catcher…I won’t notice Yorke. Those two positions have to improve or we’re in for a difficult season.
