Jarrett Lee should’ve played in the 2011 BCS championship game.

agree, that's when I lost all respect for Miles as he basically surrendered... I think due to stubbornness / arrogance.

May not have won, it may not have made any diff, but
TO NOT TRY ... Sacrilegious IMHO

You’re a child then. When I hear Jim Hawthorne, I hear him calling the Warren Morris HR. I hear him calling the Flynn to Byrd pass, the other 4 National Championships in LSU Baseball and 2 NCs in football. He is BY A MILE THE MOST SUCCESSFUL PBP Guy LSU has ever had as far as success of the LSU program and calling those big games.

I believe John Ferguson was the best, but Jim wasn’t very far behind.

Perhaps you should learn to identify a "tongue in cheek" comment.

Hawthorne had some memorable calls but they were made memorable by the events. He was fortunate to be sitting in the seat.
I appreciated Hawthorne's "down home" vibe and his obvious love for LSU sports but otherwise he was shockingly average and bland most of the time.

Depends on if you listen to the original version or the edited version.
