Be a night game? Got my inlaws coming in from Texas and i sure hope it is a night game with a good atmosphere!

Yes - after 11 AM and 2:30 games, I don't think LSU can be forced into another day game.

Not aware of any such rule under the current TV contracts with ESPN and CBS. That used to be the deal when JP did the 11:30 game, not sure it's in the current arrangement.

Believe a night game is in our deal with them (where we play them on thanksgiving day).

That's over with. Last year was the last thanksgiving game. Egg bowl will be thanksgiving day now

I believe this is the last year of the "Thanksgiving Deal" where we are guaranteed a night game. After that, it's on Saturday but time is TBD for 2018 and beyond.
