Yall are Def spoiled

Freshman are 18-19, years old. They didn't start the year but eventually became starters. They need time to develop. You can't win Sec games without pitching and with multiple true Freshman starting.
We won 2 titles in 3 years because we had a 1-2 pitching duo not because we could hit Homer's.
We lost our two starting pitchers, which if you recall should've had us taking Vandy on the road. We didn't start struggling until we lost our two starting pitchers and then Brown.
Yorke was a dud too.
We had bad luck this year and it put us in this spot.
Next year, we will have a lot of experienced guys returning and we will turn it around. Sorry we can't win the title every year but mistakes happen.

Carraway/Yorke/Simpson were bad. Dardar was good prior to the injury.

This is simply not true. We have struggled since we lost to McNeese on February 24th. We went 5-5 from that game until the start of SEC play.

Nobody wants to hear this but I don’t think it’s completely fixed by next year either. Everyone says go fix it in the portal, with who? The elite guys aren’t making it to the portal anymore. Not in large numbers. Name the best 3rd baseman in the portal this year not named Hennry Ford for Tennessee. His name was Trent Caraway. He didn’t just fool us. Everyone had him as a top 15 overall transfer. We need everything but catchers, a second baseman and a right fielder. We will be better but this will still be an extremely young team that’s going to be really inconsistent.
