the spike motion is convoluted. The call for a timeout after time has expired is disturbing.

Isn't he doing a kicking motion with his foot? You know like KICKING a field goal?

This is the wrong tree to be barking up at this time. Better to focus on the past two years of under-achieving, imv.

However, sideline video shot by a WBRZ cameraman
quote:

apparently
shows Miles calling for quarterback Jordan Jefferson to spike the ball.

Your post is entirely mis-leading. One theory is that he is demonstrating to the ref that Tolliver was down. I don't see anywhere the word "LIAR" used. Did I miss that?

"Certainly there was a want to have more time on the clock"...$4 Million Dollars, and this is what we get when asked why we waited so long to get the timeout?

I didn't take that as him telling him to spike the ball. Looked to me as if he was telling him to get down under center and run a play. But I ain't taking up for that crap play calling when they had the ball on the 31 with a minute and a half left. That was ridiculous. Especially with Stampley leading Ridley and "money" Jasper kicking the field goal. I was sick watching those pass attempts.

you missed a lot. read the article - it quotes miles then proves the opposite is true. did they say "liar?", no. Did they might as well have? yes.

By the way I have German immunity on this one. I know the video was posted earlier, but my post was about WWL reporting on it - which was breaking news when I posted it.

Nice try, but NEIN!

APPARENTLY

Anyone who has played football at any level knows that what Miles was doing meany SPIKE THE BALL, without question. Did he get lost thinking there was more than 1 second left? Probably but he signaled for them to spike tha ball.
