Make no mistake about it. Several teams including WVU, Oregon, Bama, and Uthug all have us circled on their calendar. This year is going to be a bitch to win the West much less compete for all the marbles.

What a scoop. They should circle us, we win. You left Miss St off your list. Also, Oly Myth and Arky, we're their super bowl every year too. So, every team will be fired up to beat LSU. Great just the way I like it and nothing new. If you're nervous say so but we will be better this year. Deal with it

WVU will be a tough team next year, now that they have an actual coach. Close game.

I don't want LSU to be the cardiac kids anymore but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I think you guys are selling Holg's offense way too short and underestimating a WVU team that should be improved from last year. A team we barely beat at home and are on the road for this year.

they'll score points, for sure. but how many touches will they really get when we pound the rock and control the flow of the game?

With our anemic offense last year and your one-dimensional offense, yeah. Still held you about 40 yards below your season average.

Other numbers

Coastal Carolina - 63 yards (average 1.9 yards)
Marshall - 135 yards (55 coming on the third play of the game)
Maryland - -10 yards (yes, that's a negative)
UNLV - 96 yards (average 2.4 yards)
USF - 65 yards (average 2.2 yards)
Syracuse - 183 yards
UConn - 112 yards (average 2.7 yards)
Cincinnati - 60 yards
Louisville - 26 yards (average 0.9)
Pitt - 78 yards (average 2.9 yards)
Rutgers - 63 yards (average 2.1 yards)
NC St - 103 yards (average 2.9 yards)

Also, Schlabach just ranked us #14. So don't know where this killing is going to come from

Signed,

Stevan Ridley

LSU returns 24 of their top 30 tacklers from last years team, 3 starters lost.

LSU played 23 True or Redshirt Freshmen(This includes walkons) this past year. Thats a young team.

ETA: LSU has 54 players that have lettered.

This past year we had 6 returning starters on offense and 4 on defense, an still won 11 games.

We lost:
Brandon LaFell
Chad Jones
Keiland Williams
Charles Scott
Trindon Holliday
Richard Dickson
Harry Coleman
R.J.Jackson
Chris Hawk
Danny McCray
Jacob Cutrera
Lyle Hitt
Perry Riley
Rahim Alem
Ciron Black
Chris Mitchell
Al Woods
Charles Alexander

was this before or after the qb tried to get the snap from the guard?

Put Geno Smith on LSU’s team and we win the NC in a landslide. LSU fans love bringing that up, but he could line up under guard before every single play and they’d still have the better quarterback by a wide margin. I guess we should just write-off every single QB who ever got flustered in Death Valley.

This^^^

That was one play. He's a Heisman contender this year. Had a 144 QB rating last year.
