Remember: it is the bottom half of the competition that makes those of us in teh top half ELITE.
I think they would be competitive in the SEC. But then you start recruiting against the big boys and they will begin to realize how tough that is year end adn year out.
I say lets invite WV into the SEC. But they don't have much of a TV market and $$ is what is driving expansion.

What's funny is LSU could've won the game 56 to 21 if not for the dropped TD catch by Randall and failed 2-point conversion. I mean, even Alleman just hits that field goal LSU would've had 50 points on them in regulation.

I was at the game and can tell you that I have not had a better time with an opponent. You guys (almost 90% of you) were classy, honest, giving, caring. I was blown away with the hospitality and will be back to Tygart Lake State Park for some hiking and kayaking in the summer.

I agree that WVU could compete with a run game. They are forgetting about getting beat up week in and week out in the SEC. The first few years would be very unkind to them as they adjust to the talent curve. I may be wrong in this but Smith threw two games worth of throws there. of course he is going to rack up yards. I'll also admit it would be two good games of throws. I sincerely hope they don't think they can last being that one dimensional.
