I am hoping Nuss targets AA on slants and flats. Against A&M the curl and comeback routes didn't work out.

Daniel’s is needed in a bad way for this game

Passing game is garbage without Daniels. He also helps the running game on the outside. Good thing it looks like he’s playing

I would like to see him catch the ball as well.

Does this take have anyyyyyything to do with his house call on slant against A&M?

IMO: those routes failing were mainly a result of throwing to the far side of the field. More often than not, Nuss picked the far side of the field and threw to the furthest wr. With the ball in the air so long on short routes, the defender had plenty of time to regain footing/close separation/make plays.
