How is he as a recruiter? I think he'll be a good head coach one day, but a lot more goes into that than coordinating.
That said, we could do a lot fricking worse than a smart, young guy that clearly knows defense and the players love. Sort of like a Dan Lanning.

I was just replying because your statement seemed clear that was who you meant.
And I have mixed feelings about Kiffin. But I do think he has matured a bot and would probably do very well here.

He already makes more than most G5 head coaches, so I doubt that he'd leave LSU for that.
