We would be successful.

Then the next AD would realize that we need to just hire young OC as HC and cut the other dead weight.

They were in no way the doormats they are now. Thats not even debatable.

Yes they were. Ole Miss was ranked 2x when we played them under Miles and Arky was ranked 3x when we played them in an 11 year span.

Under Les, we had losses to an unranked Ole Miss three times in 2008, 2009, and 2013. We were 1-1 against a ranked Ole Miss under Miles. Against an unranked Arkansas, we had 4 losses in 2007, 2008, 2014, and 2015. We were 2-1 against a ranked Arkansas under Miles.

Again, Miles's time was up. It's your prerogative if you choose not to see that.

Pete Carroll let o do whatever he wanted. He trusts that man more then anyone and hes a damn good evaluater of talent..

I think some of the people on here that hate coach o, should read his book meat market. It's about recruiting and it follows o for a whole season at Mississippi. I promise, it will make you respect the man alot more...

The dude is super organized and has an obsession with recruiting that's unreal. He's a hard working son of a butch and we're not in any danger of him just sitting back and collecting a check ,that's a fact

I believe he is hard worker and im sure he realizes this is probably his last chance as a HC at a p5 program.
He can be successful here.

I don't think anyone has doubted that he's a talented recruiter. People go a little far with it. There are better recruiters out there.

But if you're a talented recruiter, that in itself doesn't make you a good coach. It means you have a singular quality that good coaches have.

If Miles would have just done the same thing he would still have the LSU job.... Not sure why you cant grasp this....

But you are too busy defending Les and doing ANYTHING you can to bash O......

I'm so happy to see this happening to someone else. It's nice to know I'm not the only one that endures this nonsense.

This is my point. Miles was given multiple chances. It's not like LSU kept its expectations from him. He knew his marching orders were to fix the offense and restore LSU to championship form. He was either unable or unwilling to do so.

Next man up.

Contrary to what some think, you can support Miles without denigrating Orgeron, and vice versa.

Your problem is you want it both ways... Not working with me.... You will ALWAYS be a Miles lover and a O hater no matter how good he does here... That is FACT......

If people like me and Rick are O haters, then you are most certainly the #1 Miles hater.

There's just simply no reason to hate either. Miles was given the chance to do what he could for the program, and now O is being given the same chance.

What negative stuff?

Like me posting he can be successful here? Or me posting that if he wins 11 games he should get coach of the year?

Youre problem is you dont know what youre talking about.
Ive cheered for wins all season amd will always cheer for lsu to win regardless of the coach.

I absolutely agree 100%. There is one group of people that will never give Coach O his due credit for whatever reason. There is also a group that feels they have to diminish what Miles accomplished to prop up Orgeron. I don't understand either thought process. Both have their own strengths and weaknesses and both also have been successful at LSU.
