Which is all fine and dandy but he still can't score points on or beat Alabama

He most certainly has to improve the offense next season or be shown the door, but anyone talking about getting rid of him now isn't thinking clearly IMO. I'm not even a fan of the guy.

We'll score next year and people will want to give him a raise.

Any talk of an extension is extremely premature.

Les won 42% of the games vs Bama

Shrimp Boat Cap'n is at a whopping 0%

And he had a 3-7 record vs. Saban with a 5 game losing streak with no end in sight. Is Orgeron capable of better? Maybe, maybe not, but the way some of you break your backs bending over backwards to repaint the last 5 Les years as something other than what it actually was is both nauseating and comical.

I see more upvote/downvote polls on here...

The one time I made one it was immediately whacked and I was messaged by admin that it wasn't allowed...

Well the question posed was a hypothetical that has no basis in reality, so might as well have fun with it.

I’m confused... shouldn’t upvote be a yes to the question and downvote a no?

I like Les, but what’s done is done. O is our coach and I think he’s got the program in relatively good shape.

Love Les, but I would not trade at this moment.

Some of y'all act like Miles wasn't on a 5 game losing streak against Bama and that we finished every year strong without any dumb losses after losing to them.

Yeah now we just have dumb losses before bama.

So 1 game better than the season that almost got miles fired?

That one game in his second season is pretty good. As I've already said, he has to improve the offense next season or bye bye.

Assured ny6 bowl?

According to Moscona yesterday or the day before, LSU is basically in.

Either way, as of now it looks like O has avoided something else Miles was known for: collapsing after the annual bama loss.

Yeah thank god arky and olemiss took a nose dive into being doormats.

Miles got us to the Bama game every year undefeated? I must have missed that every year.

To be honest the only thing that has changed is the offense has managed to get shittier but I’m holding out hope that O will dump Steve and bring in a real OC.

We havent even solidified that we are a 2 loss team.

There is zero chance a ny6 bowl chooses a 3 loss lsu team over a 2 loss uga. It aint happening brother.

You act like they were juggernauts while Miles was here. They had some good years, but more often times than not, they both gave Miles issues beating LSU when they were unranked far more than they should have.

We havent had a lead for a single second since miles left.
Hell we have been down by 2 scores for more time than we have been tied.

Les Miles is the most overrated coach in the history of LSU. He is Larry Coker. I wish you ignorant people will stop bringing this idiot up. He is not a championship coach. Sabans players won that.

Then you are a DUMBASS!!!!

I truly cannot thank Coach Miles enough for his time at LSU but it was time for him to go because he was just too stubborn in recognizing his offensive scheme could no longer keep up in college football. Even Saban realized this and changed but Les just couldn't do it!

Right now no one knows if Les has changed his philosophy on offense and will hire the right OC and more importantly let him coach the offense the way the OC wants to coach the offense. Now I am not saying O is doing better he isn't, but we don't know if Les will yet!! Until Les proves he has changed, I don't want him at LSU as the HC as AD yes but not as HC.

They were in no way the doormats they are now. Thats not even debatable.

Arky run defense
2016-89
2017-100
2018-57

Ole miss run defense
2016-117
2017-125
2018-100

The last time he lost to either team Arkansas was 11 the in the country in run defense and ole miss was 20th.

Facts dont lie. Both ole miss and arky have been utter garbage since 2016.
