Don't watch NBA until playoffs so, with that said, I prefer Lakers to get lots of face time.

Indifferent. Simmons isn't an "LSU guy" to me. I wish him well, but I'll never swell with pride if he has a great game.

Philly is a perfect fit for Simmons. I get the impression that winning is not a high priority for him as long as he gets his stats and gets paid.

Something negative about him caused me to not be a fan, with no energy invested and now that he is gone no care...

Ingram is just to good of a player for the 76'ers to pass on. So I think it comes down to Simmons or Bender for the Lakers. Got to give the edge to Bender on that one. Best thing for Simmons would be to land in the #3 spot with the Celtics. Hopefully Simmons isn't one of those draft day cases where he keeps sliding back in the draft, but don't be surprised if it happens. Could be a good thing for the Pelicans though if he slid that far, but I would still pass on him for Held or Dunn or one of the other shooters in the draft.

Lakers

from a TD story anonymous scout quoted
quote:

Shooting is a concern, but that kind of size and skill set doesn't come along very often. There were a lot of things going on with his teammates at LSU. There's no denying he has a big sense of self-entitlement. He's got an aloofness to him that is concerning.

Buddy wins games for his team with the game on the line.

Simmons will not take the shot.

Laker fans have that same sense of entitlement. They deserve each other.
