Lol what? Shutting down Georgia, a Lincoln Riley Oklahoma team, and Clemson? That’s a defense that wasn’t very good?

2 starting NFL QBs completely shut down. But the DBs weren’t good.

What a stupid take

Eli Ricks - NFL player, 2 year starter here where he had 5INTs and 2 TDs. Smith- also an NFL player, 1 year in college, 3INTs, 60 tackles and 1 TD

What a fricking spin that is. Ricks went undrafted and played in 14 games a LSU. He packed it in his sophomore year and then tucked tail and ran.

Smith had 4 tackles at LSU and also went undrafted. He’s currently not even on a roster.

It was just a few of many reasons why Corey is great

And he proved my point. Look, you guys can blow each other later. What matters is what they did at LSU. And neither accomplished shite at Bama either. Smith isn’t even in the league

But why didn’t you mention Stingley, Fulton, Delpit, Adams, Jackson, Stevens, Tre White, or Greedy Williams? Or Cordale Flott?

I’ll keep adding if you’d like

Pretty ironic since I just posted facts and you’re the one using spin.

Just going to respond to myself, because when you write all the names out like that, you realize just how good of a recruiter and coach he was. That’s a solid list

You posted facts that aren’t relevant to the topic, which is LSU football. Ricks wasn’t a two year starter at LSU and smith didn’t have 60 tackles at LSU

All players in the beginning of Raymond’s tenure. He stopped giving a frick and recruited/developed poorly in his last two years. How fricking hard is that to comprehend?

Stingleys best year was his freshman year Fulton was a great player for LSU no doubt. Now tell me what Raymond did in 2020 and 2021

2020 and 2021 developed Flott to the NFL. One of his lowest rated recruits.

Started developing McGlothern nicely until Kelly power tripped and gave Arkansas the best corner in the SEC

Recruiting drop off wasn’t his fault either right?

One bad recruiting year doesn’t negate 9 positive ones.

Let me know when Steeples has his first good year and we can talk

More irony, the topic was recruiting talent to which you said guys like Ricks and Smith amounted to “frickall” which is totally false. Now you keep deferring to these deflection tactics using qualifiers that don’t refute anything. You also keep repeating these asinine ideas that the secondary coach calls the defense and that the newer staff losing guys is somehow his fault as well. It’s pure biased spin.

He doesn’t like Raymond because he isn’t here anymore which was my initial point. If Raymond were still here this guy would be shilling for him no matter the results.

One bad year?

Class of 2020
Ricks: Bust transfer
Toles: Bust transfer
Mcglothern: 3 star isn’t that what you’re crying about?
Darren fricking evans

Class of 2021

Sage Ryan
McGhee: transfer out
Derrick Davis: took snaps at RB before transferring out.

Class of 2022 before leaving
Welch

It’s also hilarious you site flott as an example of development. Steeples has had one full cycle to develop.

Raymond was a great recruiter in his early career, he shite the bed towards the end
