A little high and mighty there huh??

This isn't my first one so it's not like they aren't a priority, but sometimes you need to do things for yourself to stay sain even if it means bringing them with you.. The section is up top and is wasn't loud at all the game we went to last year and was actually a nice breeze whirling around up there.. I was actually against taking her and wanted to show my wife that many others had the same opinion but thinking about it more, we may just go.

So if you are around east upper deck, section 634,look for me.. Aight..

I would skip the game because I'm a parent of a 7 month old and when I became a parent, my child became more important that what I'd like to do.

Tiger Stadium is no place for an infant. If you have to ask the question, I think you already know the answer. You're hoping that someone will tell you it's okay so you can somehow rationalize taking her.

I hope you can find a sitter at the last minute and get to go. Then, everyone will be happy.

Terrible idea! Even not loud for Tiger Stadium standards is still really loud. Especially for sensitive 7 month old ears.

Not at all. My priorities and yours are quite different, obviously.

It's "sane", but that's just another statement by you trying to rationalize bringing a 7 month old to the top of the stadium so YOU don't miss the game. There's nothing wrong with doing things for yourself from time to time that don't affect your children. I get that part. This isn't one of them that makes any sense, however, in MY opinion.

Take your son or your daughter. Do something special later on with the one you leave behind. THAT makes sense. A 7 month old makes zero sense, but she's your 7 month old so do what you think is in the best interest of your CHILD, of course.

don't 7 month old kids usually wriggle around a lot and put everything in their mouth? I feel like you will be battling the kid more than actually getting to watch the game. Then when he/she starts getting irritable and crying, you are gonna make everyone around you irritable. I think it's gonna be more headache than it's worth.

How are you going to get her in without a ticket?

Section 634 will be in the sun for a l-o-n-g time.

Why not, if the child is well and the weather is OK? Do it.

Again, do you all have bad kids or what? My daughter sits still and doesn't cry that much, except when my wife walks out of the room.. And that will be close to nap time so she will be out for a couple of hours.. She sleeps through anything, she would have to with her four older siblings..

I'm sure you could leave the 7 month old with someone at a random tailgate and the baby will be just fine.

If common sense won't prevail, then read this:

LINK

Tickets
Policy: All persons, regardless of age, must present a ticket for admission to Tiger Stadium.

Re-Entry to Stadium
Policy: Anyone leaving the stadium must have an unscanned new ticket to return to the stadium.

OP, I think you should have a few more kids. With your high income and parenting skills, go for it.

i understand you posting the ticket policy but have talked to several people already that have brought their kid into the stadium without a ticket (dont know if this is a policy that changed this year)
but i dont understand the reason you posted the re-entry policy??? if i leave, i wouldnt be going back in.

ive enjoyed this thread..
