Similar but I think Ehlinger runs a little bit harder

No way. And I say that as a huge Fitz hater.

I actually think he closer to Burrow in comparison had Brennan been healthy last year and allowed up to use all of his ability.

Outside of Burrow, I can see the better passing Tebow comparison even though I don't think he is as hard-nose as Tebow. I think slower, better passing Dak.

Ehlinger is significantly better than Fitzgerald.

He is not an incredible passer. He is an adequate passer. Very solid leader. Good runner. All around good QB. He can beat us.. but he is not Tua or Fromm.

I think Fitz had it harder anyway. Fitz played against SEC defenses while guy played against Big 12 defenses.LSU probably would average 40 against that conference.

On the flip side Fitzgerald is definitely a better runner than Ehlinger. He's not only a better battering ram type but he also had some serious speed for a guy that size to break some big runs

Ehlinger may not have been running for a bunch of positive yards, but he was hard to bring down behind the line of scrimmage. I sure hope that our coaching staff noticed that Georgia players kept trying to tackle Ehlinger high. He repeatedly shrugged them off. If those tackles had been aimed at or below the waist, Texas may not have kept the momentum it had in the game. Not once did it seem that Georgia ever adjusted.

I’d compare him to Burrow.

Tebow’s the best comparison.

I actually think he’s better than Tebow. He just doesn’t have the same amount of talent around him that Tebow had at Florida.

Downvote away...

People are getting downvotes, but media and scouts have been saying this all last year and this off-season. It's like if you put Tebow on an only decent team with an okay throwing motion.

I've also seen Colin Klein, but Ehlinger passes better than he ever did.

If you want to get a little more reasonable, he's a better version of Joe Burrow, or Joe Burrow, but ran in a better offensive scheme last year.
