There's no path forward that doesn't involve Brian Kelly as head coach.

A move like this would be to bring him in as an assistant HC type of position and separating Kelly from some responsibilities...particularly on offense.

Another example would be Bobby Petrino.

Make no mistake...you are shopping in a bin of things that have been discarded. You are brigning someone in to do what they do well...without taking on the things that made them fail.

The OP is about getting creative and solving the problem we have given that a buyout isn't a realistic possibility.
