No. And while I think in the long run he might be a good coach, I would hope that our program could do better. I was begging for a new OC, because I think Miles is a Mack Brown-great recruiter and a good CEO coach that just happens to have a crummy second in command.

He would not have gotten an interview at Tennessee had Kiffen left in early December. The timing of Kiffen's departure, Tennessee's insistence that the new coach keep the old staff and its multi-year contracts and the NCAA investigators still snooping around the program left Tennessee in a desperate position.

No, and No. He would not jump to Georgia either. This is a destination job for him and many on this board totally underestimate the pretiege and potential of the Tennessee program.

no. I wish he would because he and Sark would be my choices after Miles gets fired this year. Both have excellent football minds and intense gameday preparation and focus.

Tennessee is a great job and he will do well there...I feel like he is the next great coach with Saban and Meyer..,.

Why would Dooley want to leave Tennessee and come to LSU? Without factoring emotion into it, I would view that as a lateral move from the standpoint of coaching jobs.

Lord, I hope not.

To this point, I'm not as impressed with a 5th place finish in the WAC and an overall losing record as a HC as Tennessee must be.

Why would he leave UT?
Why would LSU want an unproven coach?

This.
Its amazing what association with an elite coach can get for you. He will say and do the right things but what has he proven? 2 out of 3 seasons as a head coach with losing record. He has never been coordinator either
