Would 11-2 LSU make it to the playoffs over a 12-1 big 12 champ?

Edit: My bad, I was mistaken. I thought the sec west champ was picked based on sec west record first, then head to head, then overall. Sorry guys. Someone be learning me a wrong one.
If LSU beats Alabama but loses to either msu, atm, or ark we would still win the sec west. If we win the sec championship after that do we still get in? Or does a 1 loss Alabama get in? Or does a 1 loss big 12 champ get in? This would be the hardest decision I think the playoff commity would ever make. I know it's still a long ways away, but what would happen?

We wouldn’t win the SEC West unless Bama loses again. It goes by SEC record not SEC west record.

Too early!! We have a lot of business to take care of before we talk about playoffs. Just gotta focus on Moo State.

BAMA would be in the SEC championship...with only one SEC loss, whereas LSU would have 2 in your scenario. SEC losses across divisions still count towards your SEC overall record.

Not based on what he described in his scenario.
He has LSU with 2 SEC losses and BAMA with 1. BAMA wins the west and LSU sits at home with 2 SEC losses.
Cross division SEC games count...which is always why people have bitched about LSU drawing Florida while BAMA gets UT...at least in the past decade.

Notre Dame would have to lose for 2 SEC teams to make the Playoffs this year.

The ONLY way LSU would make the CFP is if we are SEC champions. There is no other plausible scenario for us this year.

No we wouldn't. But we would make it to a NY6 game and that is still pretty damn good
