05 Tenn. Hot as hell and a gut-wrenching defeat.

the play on the field in 88 Miami may have been bad, but I was a student then and kudos to the students, most of whom stayed well into the second half----we had a great time---and which is why LSU fans are the best.

my worst game was the Florida 58-3 or whatever it was butt-whipping----it was my first and only game i saw from the west upper deck and i vowed never to watch a game from there ever again

My vote. Insult to injury was sitting with my law school roommate who went to FSU for undergrad. Shameful, long walk home from TS.

ETA: 1991.

Especially for a win!
Terrible play, stadium was worse than sub-par and it was cold with wind that would cut through 15 layers of clothing...

Ole Miss-1997. Losing that game probably cost us a chance of winning the SEC West since Auburn went virtue of a tiebreaker.

Houston -1999. Thank God though because this helped put Gerry D in the grave.

Tennessee-2005. It was like a swift kick in stomach. Being up 21-0 at half and the feeling like something in your life was going right for the first time in weeks. Then they outscore us 24-3 in the 2nd half. The turning play was in the 4th when JR threw a pic that was returned to the 2 only a few plays after they scored a touchdown.

Miami 1988 - Monsoon + arse kicking
Florida 58-3... puke!
Auburn 1999 - 41-7 (I think this was the cigar game)

Arkansas 2007 - That was the quietest I ever heard Tiger Stadium at the end of a game. I've left many a game with people ranting & raving after a loss, but our whole section marched out in complete silence, thinking we lost our shot at the National Championship... Of course it didn't cost us anything in the long run, but it was a sickening feeling losing that game.

I agree - this was my worse as well.

It is still unbelievable, even today, that we blew that lead like that.

No one spoke on the drive home to New Orleans. Nothing said, just gloom & doom.

Miami game in the rain. I want to say 89. We were literally demolished.

This one.

On the plus side though, my friend & I got to be on TV because we stayed until the final moment cheering for the big Tiger comeback. Apparently, stupidity and alcohol make folks very television worthy.
