actually the worst GAME was in 1977 against Rice. Carlos Carson caught five td passes. LSU won 77-0. It was a great track meet but a terrible football game--glad we were on the winning side though.

That was an awful game. It was also the hardest I've ever seen it rain, for as long as it did, in Tiger Stadium.

Miami (Fla) 88? Maybe? There was a "Hurricane" storm that blew through before the Canes blew through us. Something like 44 - 3?

Yeah, Pepe, I was thinking along those lines as well. Kentucky came to town that same year and shoved one like that up our asses as well.
A&M had Big George Woodard and Kentucky had Sonny Collins. A&M ran the Half-Bone and KU ran the Wishbone.
A couple of others I would like to forget was the 37-3 whipping Ole Piss put on us when Stan Hindman (dl) ran Little Joe LaBruzzo down on an 89 yd. punt return at the 4 and we ended up back on the 11.
About that same time Bama and Ken Stabler came to town and Pat Screen set a record from the shotgun for pass attempts and completions that I thinks still stands. That was something like 31-7. All were complete rip your head off and shite down your neck type arse whippings.
