It's even more confusing because he was coming off of a game where he averaged 48 yards per punt.

Funny how you didn't post this 2 weeks ago when the same punter was SEC special teams player of the week.

I too thought the guy had a horrible game, but its not the reason we lost.

The guy is wildly inconsistent. One week average nearly 50 yards a punt, the next average 34. Pitiful.

Not sure how this is BDP's fault though.

I don't like the rugby style kicking also.

How can you get distance if you are kicking on the run?

What about Gamble? Is he only good for kicking off?

Re the kickoffs to the back of the end zone, most media accounts say both Gamble & the freshman are able to easily reach it. It is ...was....CLM's KO philosophy to try & keep the return inside the 20 yard line & by kicking it to a corner of the field, it limits the return area as well. That's why some of his kicks go out of bounds, he's missing the corner of the field.
