While all attention has been on offense the defense was really not good last year. The defense lost Alabama and Clemson games in the last minute. Almost lost it vs A&M and S Carolina, and what was that vs Ole Miss?

If this is true, then why are you mentioning the fact that he was fired.

Because that actually happened. He actually was fired last season (MID SEASON non less).

If you dont think he knows what he's doing and won't be an upgrade (until we see it happen) you're a total moron.

So wait...now the argument it is the OC, and not the HC? But i was told by the Milesinestas it was the HC and not the OC? Can yall pick a story and stick to it?

Cam was fired because he wasnt good enough.

Really? Here is a quote about his firing: According to sources, Cameron and Harbaugh also were involved in a heated exchange on the sidelines that carried over to the locker room after Sunday’s loss.

He was fired right after and that was right at the end of the season. The offense was 11th in ppg. Do you realize how much you have no idea? How much you can suck it?

What facts? He was fired after the 13th game. Other than this mental gem, or "fact" as you call it, you didnt really respond to me. My name isnt "y'all"

As I've already stated, he was top 7 in ppg, 7 times in 11 years. You're simply focusing on the firing. So it would seem that you are the one only using a small scope in which to judge, just like you are criticizing others for.

the main fact is CplBengal hates Les Miles. Don't expect much in the way of objectivity out of him.

Its true Cam was fired with 3 games left because he sucked. Its true the ravens installed a whole new offense and threw Cam's playbook in the trash. The guy who took Cam place put his playbook in, the players learned and prefected it 3 weeks before the playoffs and the rest is history.. BULLCHIT!!!

The ravens used Cam's playbook, Caldwell just took more risk with flacco slinging it around the yard. What Cam did in baltimore is a perfect fit for what CLM like to do, that's why he's at LSU..

Never go full retard even though I know that is extremely difficult challenge for you.

Cam was fired because of a difference in opinion. One thing Raven's organization doesn't tolerate is in house fighting. They weren't going to fire Harbaugh so Cam got the axe. The two had a difference in offensive philosophy & it had began to cause a rift in personnel. The Ravens did what they felt was best for their organization.

Sometimes a change in scenery is the best thing that happens to coaches. Their philosophy doesn't always mesh with the head coach or players but that doesn't mean that said coach is a failure. This happens all the time ala Saban with the Dolphins, Belicheck with the Browns, Carroll with the Jets & Patriots & Spurrier with the Redskins.

Coaching isn't a perfect science. There isn't a blueprint on perfect coaching 101. It takes experience & sometimes shortcomings to make coaches better at handling certain situations better in the future. This is along with finally having an OC that pays attention to detail is why many fans & the players themselves are very optimistic about the offense under Cam's leadership.

You are wasting your breath on that shite stirring troll.

None of us know how Cam will work out at LSU, but anyone beating the drum over and over that something is wrong with his hire because he was fired from his last job is only showing how naïve they are about the pro game and football on the whole.

Cam has a history of producing some very good offenses at the highest level of the game.

If you are an LSU fan and aren't willing to at lease give the guy a shot before crapping on him, you are either an idiot, a kid fricking around with the board, or a troll.

Agree. Anything though will be an upgrade over the Les/Stud/Crowton/Billy G Clusterfrick offense. No one knows if we will see immediate improvement, or if it will come in waves of progression. My guess is that the first game or 2 might be kind of rough around the edges. But then we should see some steady improvement throughout the season.

Of course the Ravens set the franchise record for most points in a season last year. He coached 13 of the 16 games.

I'll admit that Les took the long and winding road to get there.

Damn right. He should have never hired Crowton or Pelini--should have hired Chavis and Cameron as soon as he got to LSU. Or at the very latest, he should have known Kragthorpe would get sick and hired Cameron away from Baltimore as soon as Crowton was sent packing. And barring that, he should have dumped Krags as soon as he knew he was ill, not tried to have him collaborate with Stud, and stolen Cameron from Baltimore at that time.

Some people lack anything remotely resembling common sense.
