Mett, E.J. Manual(FSU), Barkley(USC), McCarron(Bama), Bryn Renner(UNC), Wilson(Arky) were a few of the notables at the camp. Peyton and Eli lead a chalkboard and throwing session on the first day for the instructors where they invited LSU, Nicholls, SLU, and Tulane receivers to catch balls. Supposedly Mett looked great and put the ball on the money with almost every throw. OBJ and Wright stood out among the WR's with LSU's guys snagging eveything near them.

I remember last year, when they were saying how good JJ and EJ were doing.
They sure got those two wrong.

Wasn't something to this effect said every year that JJ attended the MPA?

Seems like every QB who attends turns into a heisman contender

i remember that shite, which means, until you have 11 on 11 with pads and SEC caliber players, you really don’t know shite

The NSU folks seem to be doing a pretty good job of covering it.

A couple years ago, Mike Detillier raved on Russell Shephard, saying he looked like Percy Harvin. Grain of salt, folks...

The Manning Passing Academy does not produce passers that pass like the Mannings.

This kind of goes with my post from the other thread. No this will not make you a Manning. It is great for Nicholls and the immediate area. Nicholls does not really have a heavy outreach program and this is great one with a big name. They are starting to figure out how to use this for economic purposes as well. I believe they have around 1400 kids there (that is the number I heard at least) and coaches can use this for some free scouting.

What Mannings didn't want anyone to know is that JJ attended the passing academy as a camper, not as an instructor. Kinda like the make a wish foundation might do for kids with cancer or sickle cell.
