Woodward didn’t bomb with Johnson yet, but it will happen if nothing changes coaching wise

Only thing that can save this LSU team now, is if Johnson hires an assistant coach who can teach defensive baseball fundamentals to his team. Straight up no way around it, do it or die a slow death.

Doughty, Berry and Thompson’s weren’t ever even good Fielders. Doughty is doing his best at SS
This was a bad fielding team last year but Morgan was Elite and bailed out a ton of bad throws.

The errors are between the ears now. These kids are physically capable and are being coached. It hasn't helped that several have been out of position and are now changing positions again - yes, that's on the coach, but that has nothing to do with fundamentals.

Johnson didn’t see these errors being a serious problem, this didn’t just happen. Obviously he can’t fix it.

Since the start of the 2018 baseball season to the completion of today’s game, LSU is currently 49-50 in SEC head to head regular season play.
The current product on the field and last four years of play are a direct result of Paul Manieri’sast five years at LSU.
If you throw immediate blame at Johnson, ask yourself where this team would be today without Berry and Jobert as LSU Tigers with their offensive production.

True, but fundamentals are fundamentals, that hasn't changed in a 150 years. The lack of fundamentals has led to entirely too many unearned runs that have cost them games

This 100%. I’m still shocked that Mainieri didn’t know that Peterson never hit in high school. How does he don’t know these things about kids he recruits

I criticized Paul’s coaching last year during games, and much of the Rant was demanding TD admin stop me from doing so. I was accurate, and was penalized for it.
