Plus what has swimming & tennis done lately?
Womens tennis made the elite 8 this year after Woodwards hire….

Which is pretty incredible since Verge ignored text messages a few years ago where a football player admitted to him that he was beating the shite out of a women’s tennis player

What Woodward did do if rumors of buyout donor are true is work his high school connections rather than LSU alums for 10's of millions. It'll be interesting to see if those dollars follow the new Pres and AD.

If he had, he would still be here.

Why are you so happy?

And you are aware that running a program requires more than hiring coaches, right? It is about balancing the books, relationships with coaches and providing them with what they need, relationships with boosters and donors, and helping improve facilities? I would argue that Scott was well above average in a lot of those areas.

Outside of Mulkey and Johnson, it has been a poor showing by Woodward both on the hiring side, and on the financial side.

Please elaborate.

Baseball, Women's basketball, Gymnastics, Football (yes, we've been 9-10 wins in the SEC which is above the pack), Track is better than average. The only thing we've not done well in here lately is Men's basketball. Softball we're usually above pack, but had some sub par seasons....

Don't forget that he allows the wrestling belt man to run around LSU facilities like he owns them.

You think Verge is gonna put a stop to this?

Where do you idiots come from? He hired: Mulkey (won WBB Natty), JayJ (won Baseball Natty x 2), Clark (won Gym Natty). Yes he hired McMan who failed but at the time of hire had a legit track record. Yes Kelly did not perform to LSU standards, but he won 9 or 10 games each season, and beat a Saban led Bama, so lets not act like he was Curley Hallman. Woodward wasn't perfect in a lot of ways, but he was not a bad AD at all. Period.

Woody was bad- 2 highest revenue sports failed- all else really does not matter- You have to succeed from the top down - not from the bottom up
