I just hope he is taking this as a life lesson, and understanding his responsibility in it. Not that he did or didn't kick anybody, but that he was the leader of the team and was out late at night at a bar. This stuff happens when you're out at a bar and he is the most recognizable face. It sucks for the kid, but there is something to be learned out of every experience.

Not that I am all that old, but... I have seen enough to know that sometimes shite happens for a reason... and the one factor that will sort all this out is TIME, all the opinions, rumors, and best guesses really wont matter eventually. The ole saying,"cream always rises to the top", comes to mind.... time will tell, I for one hope Lee makes the most of this and that Jefferson will learn a lesson... whether guilty or not... he should not have been there and he would not be in this position.

GUYS, enough of the "who's #1/#2 qb". JJ was to be the starter before this throw-down happened. Lee is now the starter by default, the next guy in line so to say. Yes, we support him and he is "The Guy" in the spotlight now. All I have to say is that it was meant to happen this way. That why God allows us free will and choices in life, it's up to us to hopefully make the right ones when we get to an intersection in life.

I can't help but think that he would not feel so bad if CLM had not led him to believe he was the #1 QB on the team. Seriously, he is a backup QB in the SEC, at best. He shouldnt have been playing in the first place, now he'll blame this 'fight' on his demise, when in reality, he really shouldnt have been a starting QB in the SEC to begin with. There, someone had to say it.
He's probably a better QB now that Crowten is gone. He did nothing for our QB's at Ore. The year after Crowton left and Chip Kelly became the new OC, Dennis Dixon went from being the same type of QB as JJ to a potential Heismen and the Ducks were either #1-2 in the country before he messed up his knee. So in all fairness to JJ he should of got another shot before you say he's only a backup. I'm sure he's feeling like an idiot right now, watching his CFB career go down the drain.

Right. Isn't the starter typically the number one guy?
As a dig on JL. JL is the number 1 guy,IS the starter.

dumb is referring to an individual who isn't even traveling with the team, listed on the roster or depth chart as the #1 qb....
that's just delusional. There is reality, come join us.
This thread has evolved into bashing a player that isn't on the team right now. Try to keep up.

You completely missed what was being discussed on the first page.
Take a deep breath. Every mention of Jefferson is not an automatic slight to Lee.

quote:Well-said and point well made. Just look at his stats the past 3 seasons for proof positive; IMO the wins came as a result of LSU the team's overall strength, and not because of his great QBing.

This is not a bash of JJ - I gotta give him props for trying. But the stats don't lie, he didn't cut it at the SEC QB level.

He's going through a lot of stuff, you're right, all of which HE got himself into...whether guilty or not, he put himself in that situation
And it's foolish to think that the BRPD doesn't have a pretty strong case at this point

He made a dumb chose so now let him live with it. I am only concerned about the LSU Team & how Les has had to change the OF with JJ out!

How was that criticism. The post to which I replied stated that Les had led JJ to believe that he was number one when he really wasn't. First, what kind of stupid shite is that. Seconf, JJ's numbers, to date, are better. That's not a criticism; it's an explanation of why JJ was number one. That's why he was number one. Now Lee is number one, by default--because JJ fricked up, not because Lee was always "really" number one. I support him, but you guys are fricking annoying and petty. So I will knight for JJ every time I see him brought up in a negative light.

I've read them.
Some poster said that Miles should take some criticism because he constantly told Jefferson he was the #1 QB when he should have been a back up.
Navytigers responded with "isn't the started normally the #1 QB" or something of that nature.
It's obvious that he was responding to this poster and pointing that Jefferson was the #1 QB since he had been the starter for two years and that the poster's observation was a bit ridiculous.
It was in no way a slight at Lee.
Remove panties from snatch.
