re: LSU lobbied hard for roof to be opened...

Jeez can't win it by just playing the game. Have to look for an advantage.
Lets see, they scored 24 on you and you scored 17. we scored 19 and they scored 22 on us. Looks close to me.
I can't help but think that he would not feel so bad if CLM had not led him to believe he was the #1 QB on the team. Seriously, he is a backup QB in the SEC, at best. He shouldnt have been playing in the first place, now he'll blame this 'fight' on his demise, when in reality, he really shouldnt have been a starting QB in the SEC to begin with. There, someone had to say it.
He's probably a better QB now that Crowten is gone. He did nothing for our QB's at Ore. The year after Crowton left and Chip Kelly became the new OC, Dennis Dixon went from being the same type of QB as JJ to a potential Heismen and the Ducks were either #1-2 in the country before he messed up his knee. So in all fairness to JJ he should of got another shot before you say he's only a backup. I'm sure he's feeling like an idiot right now, watching his CFB career go down the drain.

Fumbled snap Oregon recovers.
Kicking game.

Something that never comes up on talk/forums is the kicking game. We have ours back again this year. Does LSU have theirs back or are they new?
Oregons faced way better QB's in the Pac-12. Not worried.

I'm a Duck fan and LSU definately has my respect. I think the Media likes to play both sides to create interest. I wouldn't bet a penny on the game. I really have know idea which way it's going to go. To many variables on each side.
FWIW, I've seen quite a few LSU picks. I see it going either way. I wonder how much the media plays with our heads.

None of your starters would be starting in LSU's secondary. Fact.
Lee wouldn't start for any Pac-12 teams either. Well maybe UCLA. Oregons used to playing against top QB's and WR's. The Pac-12 is a pass happy league so I doubt Ore is worried about Lee. Certainatly he has our attention, but not as much as Luck from Standford does. LSU's D is the biggest concern. Also I not sure that our DC Aliotti has sent out the meno stating were going to blitz all day long.

He'll be fine till he throws his 1st pick 6.
re: Another LSU/UO game analysis. I promise he's credible.

I find it highly unlikely that Chip Kelly will game plan against LSU like he did agaisnt AU. I have no doubt that he was scheming for LSU as soon as the NC game was over. LSU will see some new looks. But in all fairness I don't see UO running wild on LSU. In the NC game Darron Thomas blew some reads and that was bad for the Ducks. Every possesion counts in games like this, so hopefully he learned something in the off season. Still not bad for a 1st year starter.
Our DC Aliotti isn't much of a blitzer. Pi$$es off lots of fans. Oregon will blitz but it's not a big part of there plan. I hope LSU does blitz a lot, that will open up play for our TE/WR's. Oregon does a lot of crossing routes and if you blitz us were gettin open accross the middle. As far as Darron taking a hit, he got hammered quite often in the NC game. He can take a hit.
JJ and the kick video.

Hard to tell exactly though but it is an LSU player.

From Football Weekly. Looks like a few teams ran over LSU
7) Oregon throttles LSU
The Ducks struggled against Auburn in the National Championship last year. Fact. Oregon will struggle against a defense of similar caliber in LSU. Fiction. In the national title, Oregon's quarterback, Darron Thomas, threw for a season high of 40 attempts. Why? Because head coach Chip Kelly realized that Auburn struggled against the pass. It did lead to the Ducks losing, but that can be blamed on one thing; Oregon is not a pass based offense. What does this have to do with LSU? The Tigers finished 42nd against the run last season. Oregon was 4th in rushing last fall behind three teams who only know how to run (Nevada, Air Force, Georgia Tech). In other words, Oregon is going to run the ball until the clock hits zero. Thomas is going to mature as a quarterback and make smarter reads. LaMichael James will be dangerous as always and a fast paced offense should keep LSU off beat, despite facing an inexperienced offensive line. Jordan Jefferson of LSU could be the most overrated player in the nation. LSU's offense will struggle to put up points like Auburn did and Oregon's fast paced offense will not fail. In the hands of mature quarterback, Darron Thomas, the Ducks' offense will roll.
Oregon: 43
LSU: 24
