If I heard the broadcasters correctly Pap will always catch Lange. Similar to how Ross always caught Lester for the Cubs. But yeah I'd have nightmares about trying to keep Lange's breaking balls in front of me

I've been watching Slaughter dig his throws out of the dirt all year.

I agree a change had to be made, I just think it will sacrifice defense.

His defense isn't such that it's outweighing that .222. Right now, he's almost just an automatic out.

Agreed. That hot-shot grounder he took off his chest, picked up and beat the runner to first to get the out was well done.

Also going 2 for 4 with a hbp for a .600 obp was a nice spark in the back third of the batting lineup.
