I just don't know why you want your state university getting involved in politics and controversial issues. If we have a republican governor and board do you want them running right to life and 2nd amendment videos? Equality for the unborn! It's dumb and creates more division where you have diverse group of people trying to better themselves.

But they weren't subject to lynchings. They were allowed to vote. They were allowed to go anywhere. They were allowed to look down their noses at black folks who may have been better off financially.

Being the first to be laid off of jobs, being excluded from a lot of soup kitchens, and receiving less aid than whites. Add Jim Crow laws on top of that.
