The majority of registered conservatives in LA have an annual income that falls below what some call the middle class. And voting Red helps you how?
When Trump comes here he often visits the areas and people his policies never helped.

They simply believe that if they get rid of any evidence of history at LSU then it never actually happened. We will soon get to no champions in anything because the the non champions will decry they should be champions also because they did not play as well and need subsidized! You know everyone gets a participation trophy and winners in the past were just evil and should be abolished.

LSU will drop to the lowest level of education BECAUSE of the socialists that have slowly over the years taken conrol(adminstration/Teachers unions,Politicans) Jindal was a terrible Governor but JBE is a nothing Governor.
Why do you think tuition has continued to rise by huge amounts and these students pay more and more ,yet get a
lousy education. It's all about money infused with indoctrination to Socialist (Woke) policies.
LSU is not the only school with this infection as this cancer is going on at almost every college in the country .

My daughter could have been a 4th Gen LSU Tiger. But when she has a 4.5 GPA (one B in her whole career), 31 ACT, and 5s on the first 4 AP exams she took, and the LSU scholarship offer isn’t enough to cover the difference between Tops and total due, something is BROKEN. She’s headed to a TX Univ on the 2nd highest academic offer they provide. I’m happy to pay more out of pocket for a better opportunity. LSU simply isn’t helping itself to retain the best and brightest, and sadly, is no longer cranking out the best prepared graduates in the South.

If LSU athletes want to speak out cool, that's their right. LSU is an institution that should not be involved in politics and championing organizations that participate in hate speach.

Maybe someone here on TD can lead a fight??? I know I am pissed but feel like there is nothing I can do. If someone here started a grassroots movement to make the University feel pain for the poor decsions they are making, I would gladly jump in.

Meanwhile (and this was correctly pointed out earlier) other Republican run southern states still support their universities and guess what? Things are better there. So it really is put up or shut up, and stop fighting against university operations.
You do realize that despite all the tough doom and gloom rhetoric from professors and administrators, under Jindal, LSU’s budget literally never was reduced from one year to the next. Jindal reduced the rate of annual increase, but LSU’s budget was higher every year than the year before it.
Some of the other universities in the state, like UNO, faced some minor budgetary issues due to tying their baseline budgets to the Katrina year, but overall, in no year under Jindal was higher education funding in general or funding for LSU in particular lower than any year previously.

Kind of like those Silicon Valley billionaires who vote blue, right? I mean, don't they realize they're voting against their best interests?
Or... maybe... some of those dumb republican hicks you're referring to vote based on things other than which candidate will provide them with the most wealth. Maybe they believe in their own causes just like those liberal billionaires who seem so willing to have their wealth redistributed.
