My point is (and it has been repeated as if it is an indisputable fact) the some guys say Wing was punched in the bar. But when it comes to JJ kicking someone, well that needs fact to back it up. Why are some accusations simply taken as fact and others given no merit?

because you are arguing with biased individuals. they want a particular outcome and will support anything that agrees with that outcome, regardless of veracity.

Im sure some people forget to put the "allegedly" in front of the Wing punched story, but for the most part I think people have been pretty good about saying that "one story is" or "according to some", etc. Have you seen many posters stating this as fact? Serious question to you because i have not.

Talked to my father yesterday and we discussed some funny stories. He served in the Air Force and was stationed in the Phillipines in the late 60's. He said the Marines were the most cockiest douches on the face of the Earth. Whenever he went out with his unit to bars or clubs they constantly got into it with Marines CONSTANTLY. Those guys would get drunk and think they were super heroes and challenge any and everybody. In his opinion Lowery started the altercation without question.

That was my source's story.
I'm not biased. My position is that whoever kicked someone on the ground resulting in broken vertebrae should be charged with second degree battery and punished appropriately.
I also don't believe the original account of the incident because 1) it makes absolutely no sense for anyone digesting it with an ounce of reason and 2) the three neutral accounts I've heard all pretty much match-up with one another and absolutely contradict the original account.
People can use "allegedly" all they want. I don't expect anyone to automatically believe anything coming from an anonymous poster on a message board.

Who said I was a member? I just farked a few things for them. I maintained throughout that if someone kicked another individual in the head then boot him for showing disregard for the life of another human being. I'm not joining a TD club or posse.

Seriously? I have been following this shite since friday morning, and there have been a shitload of people stating things as fact. Everyone that wants Jeffersninja suspended believe it is a fact that he started the fight and kicked someone's head off.
Note: the last part is hyperbole.

Cpt im about as unbiased as you can be in all this. I am doing my best to not speculate and wait it all out. I have been listening/reading to everything that has come out, but try not to draw any conclusions until i hear all sides of this. Having said that, of all the LSU homers in here (and there are plenty), you come off as the most biased. Not once have I seen you make a comment that did not bash LSU. Im pretty sure you are doing this just to get under people's skin (that or you are my LSU hating uncle
), but I still don't think you should be commenting on someone else’s bias. Bias goes both ways my friend.

I have an idea... Let's let the police and lawyers work all of this crap out. This way we can all turn our attention to Oregon before it's too late. I was referring to wing getting punched. I havent seen many state that as fact.
