She’s 22-22 in her last three seasons in the SEC and hasn’t made it out of the first round of the tournament since 2014. Doesn’t she make around 700k? It’s time for a change

Yeah. LSU is going to fire a minority woman in today’s climate.

NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!

Pokey will never be back given the circumstances under which he left.

If we got another minority woman - maybe?

Honestly though, does anyone really care that much?

imo the biggest HC hire miss. really thought she was going to be great but only very mediocre, shouldve been gone 3 years ago.

It's time to accept that LSU is the Mizzou of the south.

If Vandy fired Mason, we can fire Nikki.

That’s honestly better than I thought. Am I in the minority?

I have laughed how the person running the WBB social media has been deleting and hiding the comment section after all their losses

It’s past time for a change. I thought it was a good hire at first but it has not worked out. Her race is irrelevant here. She shouldn’t be keeping her job if she’s not doing it.

she’ll get another year. she will be on the last year of her contract next season and whether you like it or not the social climate we live in matters.

she is the only black head coach at lsu and firing her right now would probably receive bad press.

i’ll tell you what though if Woody is tired of that program underperforming i wouldn’t be surprised if he makes a change anyway. this is the first time in the history of the program we didn’t win a single game in the month of february

I am not saying I necessarily disagree with negative comments, but this is the perfect example of why social media is so stupid in the first place for sports teams. It is always a cesspool of negativity. And it isn't always just after losses. Try reading LSU baseball social media posts after close WINS sometimes. They could beat Nicholls 2-1 and you will always get Billy Boudreaux from Mamou posting shite like "Well they are going to have to do better than that when SEC starts!! They can't hit. Paul needs to be working dem boys harder"

It is to where I don't even bother with it anymore. But every school tried to "out-social media" each other and it has turned into a circus.

Time for a new women's basketball coach. This was supposed to be the year that her offense was supposed to explode with all the shooters. It's the same old same old, IMO. An average basketball team that occasionally beats a ranked team, but loses all too often to be a good team.

I'm not holding my breath, but Woodward should show us what he can do to improve the program.

The fact that ANY women's basketball coach makes $700k is absurd. For just about every major conference school that WBB is the biggest drain on the athletic budget.

I'd be all for making a change...if they were going to pay someone less
