Who could he possibly get for cheap and still somehow create a CFP staff?

Brooks Kuebna said this.

Don't believe this idiot. CNN is more trustworthy than him

There’s always a budget in every coaching search, why do people think this is a new negative idea?

Use logic.
Why would LSU fire multiple people and pay millions in buyouts only to restrict themselves to cheap replacements? If cash was that tight, they would wait another year.

I would bet it's more along the lines of "Let's consider value a little more this time" and not have a circumstance of paying someone that hasn't coordinated major college football in a over a decade millions of dollars.

If there is a no brainer stud hire I'm sure they'll pay what it takes.

reports

Why is reports plural? The only person I've seen reporting this is Brooks Kubena and he provided no context and seemingly reputable "insiders" have refuted the notion

It’s not true. Kubena grasping at straws per usual.

TAF has the money and they are willing to spend it.

It’s coming from here. Someone says it in a thread and others believe it fir no reason. There are no legitimate reports, at this time, confirming this.

Edit: And Brooks Kubena. He’s a hack.

Wouldn’t they still have to pay him and pay for another OC? Doesn’t seem like a smart move to budget money.

I don't need a report to understand that he won't be allowed to break the bank on assistants after what they gave Pelini and what they're paying him in buyout.

His eye for coaching talent will really be tested here.

They weren’t getting fired unless he could bring in actual top flight talent and prove it to Woodward. Woodward wasn’t going to front the bill easily

There's always a budget. It's just not a "limited" budget. That insinuates that O has to go super cheap. You don't spend money to fire your staff only to tell your coach he can't spend any money to find the right guys. It makes zero sense. Brooks Kobena is a moron.

Also, to the idiot Bama fan who posted in the thread on the coaching changes board, no Alabama does not have "unlimited" money. No one does. They may, and likely fo, have access to more money than LSU. But its not unlimited.

This is tRant.. Logic isn't this board's strong suit.

Every budget is “limited”, or else it would not be a budget.

Bonus: Every consensus is “general”. Saying “general consensus” advertises that you’re a moron.

Instead of “limited”, I think you meant “small”.
