Well, if somehow the SEC prevents LSU from playing SEC teams, the season is over and the program collapses.

First, they won't do that because they would be forcing member institutions to breach contracts with LSU. That would mean LSU would sue each individual member institution and the SEC for each instance. So, 1 lawsuit turns into several lawsuits. The SEC doesn't have the legal team or the budget to maintain that many active suits.
Second, it wouldnt mean the end of the program. That's nonsense.

Well, is it difficult to imagine that some of those other teams are from schools that voted to boot LSU out? Have you considered that?
