With LSU's WR Corp, Brennan might be the better option.

I feel like Brennan is the best passer of the QB group. With the depth LSU has at WR, it might make sense to start the QB who can best take advantage of that depth.

Daniels was erratic, in terms of passing the ball, while at ASU. Yes he gives LSU another running threat, but does he have the tools to fit the ball into tight windows?

He has been average throwing the ball so far during spring but boy can he run it.
Kid has wheels on him.

Alabama will take away his wheels. They'll make him beat them through the air. Can he do it? Is the question.

Brennan’s only 3 games are all better than any 3 game stretch Daniels has ever had in his 29 game career. Our fans are like schoolgirls fawning over the new kid when it comes to Daniels. They do this with every new player who comes in.

He has to improve throwing the football.
Brennan from everything I been hearing has had the better and more consistent spring so far.
That don't mean shite but seems like Jayden needs to work on his accuracy.

...and Brennan is below average without a clean pocket. You aren't winning many games in this conference if your QB doesn't have the tools to improvise and make plays.

If you can't make accurate throws when you need to what difference does it make how good you can run.

Eventually you will have to throw it and throw it accurately.

False... check his 3 game stretch against UCLA, Oregon St, and Oregon his freshman season.

More important is the ability to excel at the primary responsibility for the position. I’ll take a passer that can’t run over a runner that can’t pass any day.

If Bama couldn’t even make Hurts work behind a composite 25-star offensive line and throwing to all-world receivers then I don’t want to try Hurts-light with a much more pedestrian group.

Correct. That was some years ago though.
Has he degressed in throwing the football?
Teams will stack the LOS and make you throw it in the SEC.
You can only use your legs so much.

We need two QBs ready to play.

Brennan has injury issues. Play the hot hand in the 4th quarter.

Nope. Brennan had 1100 yds to Daniels 1000

That’s completely opposite of combo coverage and what it does for Bama. QBs that can’t run or aren’t a threat to run vs Bama get there asses handed to them
And have extremely tight windows to hit with that coverage and that way it’s played.

Thats all you came up with? I guess we're just going to ignore the turnovers, completion percentage, & 3rd down conversions. This shite is silly.

I honestly dont give a d@mn who wins the job. I got confidence that Kelly/Denbrock will be pick the guy who gives us the best shot at winning... but the shite you guys are pulling out your arse for Brennan is annoying.

Hell most shite on Max Johnson even though he had 27 TD and 6 INt in 2021. Max had no running game to help him.

Jayden threw more INT than TD .
2021.

We gotta be consistent with the praise and the critiquing is all I'm saying.

100+ yards and 2TDs less than Brennan in that stretch plus you’re wrong about Brennan not being productive under pressure. He put up those numbers with terrible protection and threw strikes on the run several times. The first quarter vs Missouri alone he threw 2 downfield darts while rolling on a full sprint, one for a TD and another TD as he got crushed just outside the pocket.

He fought off the supernatural, the ghosts that shoved him down the stairs and the old Civil War generals, in full regalia, that stood over his bed watching him sleep. No, really, his mom said: The property — the one she’s standing on right now, on this sun-splashed Wednesday — is haunted, and the house was, too.

A fact that seems completely lost on all the "DT glorified running bacK trying to play QB" jock sniffers.

SEC Defenses will shut that running shite down and then the "DT QB" can't hit the side of a barn throwing the football against a good defense when the pressure is on.

Meanwhile, the elite LSU WR Corps will be all when they don't get accurate balls thrown to them and the LSU RB's will be when they don't get enough carries because the QB takes off running when his first read is not open.

If you're dependent on having a mobile quarterback in the offense then your coaching is probably lacking.... Mobility at the QB position should be a luxury not a necessity!
