Brady's recruiting efforts and retention efforts were terrible. The only thing that saved Brady was the Temples. But once he slammed the football program, that was it! Without Temple, LSU does not get Tyrus Thomas (who Brady had no interest in), Big Baby, Tasmin, etc. Hell, he wasn't even sold on Garrett Temple who almost had to go to Baylor and former Dale Brown friend Coach Drew.

Also Trent turned Marcus Thornton into a totally different player....made him work on defense which he never did before.
blame his Juco coach for that, he was only here 2 yrs

CLUELESS!! Brady was an SEC Player of the Year signing machine! You better get Collis back on the hotline.

Great. We'd be 1-5 and someone would have gotten run off by now. My guess is Spencer would have transferred (and I know that makes many of you happy, but you THINK Bass could handle the point by himself 40 min a game?).

This is all IF, IF, IF...

We have a better coach with better qualifications. This is like comparing Curley Hallman to Bill Arnsparger. We will be fine down the road with Trent. He's playing with Brady's team, after all.

Thanks to Butch and CT, Jr.

And a lot of good it did us. Great that we won 2 SEC titles. Bad that Wisconsin and UCLA, on the bigger stage, embarrassed the hell out of us.

I'm beginning to think this is you, Brady. I guess you're not logged on anymore because you're prepping for North Texas or Troy.

I see all the Negatigers and their hatred for LSU are enjoying this down year in basketball.

This is for you:

Yeah and after Cholly Mac left and the team tanked they started yelling "bring Mac back."

Of course, before he left they were yelling "help Mac pack."

So, are you ready to release TJ?

3 SEC titles and a Final Four. It did us alot of good.
BRADYSTEAMROLLER!!

P.S. It's good to see you calling this Brady's team. That would make last year his team, also... something you denied in the past. You're confusing yourself!

He said as he stared into the mirror. By the way, you called ASU a high school. I guess you NEGATIGERS turned us into an elementary school considering we're 35 spots below them in the RPI. WTGN - Way To Go NEGATIGERS !

Close. You're looking through a pair of these, which is why you have impaired sports vision:

NEGATIGER STOOGE

Let's see what we know about you. You declared a victory over Xavier, and you foresaw us making noise in the conference. I'm starting to see a pattern here. Maybe sports isn't your thing.

P.S. Don't feel too bad though, you're in good company. Pisces thought we were gonna win 19 games.

I'm absolutely certain your statement is stupid.

I do know. I've read your posts. Believe me, nobody who knows anything about sports could've made those statements, Gilligan.

that was brady's team and marcus was his recruit, marcus was on the nba boards after his junior year, brady had player of the year and freshman of the year more than any other coach in the conference. we shall see, i just dont't see tj recruiting that type of kid ever.

you dont have a clue about what your talking about i know for a fact why garrett signed. i know ct very well and he will tell you why kids signed at LSU and it was because of the kids who played for brady are in the nba, that is why kids play they all think they can play in the league and his record of kids in the league is as good as anyone out there over the last ten years. if you knew anything about college recruiting you would know there are collis temples and butch pierres on every campus to help the program. go to one aau basketball game and see what college coaches have to deal with to get a kid. there are many reasons for this debacle and one of them is not signing any players in two seasons, his third year here and we finally have a descent class coming in. thats unheard of. brady won the league in his third year here after the death penalty dale brown left us, lets see if we are in the sweet sixteen next year and a league championsip. brady ran his course here no doubt, but he was relatively speaking pretty successful and if you think tj gets all the credit from last year ask him why he gave brady a sec championship ring. he knows whose team it was, he will also tell you he would not even be here if taz would have not gotten hurt. thats a fact

I would disagree 5 seasons finishing LAST place in the WEST and he only coached 11 seasons. Throw in a 4th place finish and more than half of Bradys time here he was near the bottom of the west.

He did make it to the final four but I give most of that credit to the 4 NBA players on that roster. Ill say it again, great recruiter and terrible coach

Only 3 times did Brady finish above .500 in conference play. This, in 11 seasons as HC.

Only 4 NCAA tourney appearances in 11 seasons.

This is not a good record. No excuses. Sorry, Coach, you had 11 years to get it right. Not good enough by a long shot.

I'm glad he's gone. I can suffer through some lean years with Trent. We saw the kind of coach he was last year. He got much more out of that team than Brady did.

If TJ has the same number of injuries and NBA defections (we can only hope), I GUARANTEE his record will be no better!
