NVM. I’m out of date.

All I know is, so far the "new" OC is stinking up the place. Hopefully things will get better.

I agree, but consider this. Last year we had a 5th year QB in his 3rd year at LSU and second year as starter.

We had the SECs leading rusher from 2016 and another senior LSU RB that made an NFL roster.

We had a Jr WR in Chark that had experience and could take the top off of defenses.

We had a solid O-line anchored by Clapp.

This year, we have a QB with no real in game experience that’s been with the program for two months.

We have RBs with no starting/ meaningful experience

We have potential at WR but no starters returning and no real chemistry developed with the green QB

We have a shuffled Line that had 3 starters out vs Southeastern.

Personally, I think the play calling is trash and screens and quick slants should have been leveraged to mitigate the rush in both games. However, I think by the second half of the season Burrow and the WRs will gel and this could be what we all hoped for.

I just don’t get being negative just to be negative.

There might be some people on here that just want to be negative. It's been that way for as long as I've been visiting (2007) this site.

But in my opinion, some people have legitimate concerns and gripes. Lots of people on here complained on a daily basis during Miles last 4 or 5 years concerning the offense. Miles gets fired, o gets hired, and he says he's going to hire the very best coordinators and coaches, and let them coach.

Then, not even a month into the season last year, he sticks his nose into the offense. Now that's his right. He's the head coach. But after saying what he said about hiring people, he should expect to receive some backlash from the fans about it.

And now this year with Ensminger. He hasn't been an OC for a number of years, and without even having a coaching search, people are going to be upset and concerned about these kind of things.

And I realize it's early in the season, but to only get 3 yards of passing offense in the second half of last weeks game, that looks bad. If Miles was here and one of his teams did that against an opponent like SE Louisiana, Heaven forbid. fans would be burning down the football facilities in protest.

That's my take on things. For what it's worth.

My point is, would Canada have fared better to this point with the same players?

Who knows. I don't know for certain. My opinion is that yes he would. But that's just my opinion.

I think the thing that really bothers people up to this point, is the 3 yards of passing offense in last week's second half.

The second half of the first game, when the offense was pretty much nonexistent, while aggravating, could be excused, since it was the first game. This past game, that's harder to excuse, or forget.

In my opinion anyway.
