Now you know damn well that was not the question that I asked. It is the only answer one can give because it is impossible to support someone you really have 0 faith in. You can say you support them but it is a false support because you believe they can not get it done. I understand saying "if he is the coach, there is nothing I can do" I am the same way. I do not have the power to hire/fire anyone and I will continue to go to games and donate to TAF.

No. I was in 2009. When he kept him I was not looking forward to this season and the offense proved to us all that it is still very poorly coached and has not improved much. I thought he would be let go this time for sure but if Miles does keep him, then I want Miles to go. I don't think we'll improve on our 10-2 record next year as I expect Bama, Florida, Arkansas and Mississippi State to be better.

If we had just an average OC, LSU would be undefeated. The talent along with the defense and special teams overcame the ineptness of the offense.

Fire the DC too?

So by firing the OC, Russell Shepard promises not to drop passes that hit him in the hands anymore?

I SUPPORT LSU and want the BEST for the PROGRAM. And until MILES grows a pair we may be stuck with Crowton. Now if Miles is LUCKY and Crowton takes another job as a coach at a lower level school[WHO WOULD WANT HIM]. Miles will have EGG on his face. Buts its something LES HAS to step up and DO.

Tigerdup I have to believe you were being sarcastic. Legendary? We hadn't won the West in 3 years. That isn't legendary stuff. But I assume you were joking.

No, actually I won't. It will reflect poorly on Miles' decision making if he keeps him. We've all had enough of Crowton's impotent offenses. When you end up near the bottom of the barrel on offense for two years running, it's time for a change. What's that old addage? I think it goes like this: "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." If he doesn't get rid of Crowton, he's insane!

That describes the Rant's entire season.

You knew from game 1 you had QB problems. Yet every week, you'd pretend Dan Marino was going to show up.

This is the best way to sum it up. It's not all on Crowton. We need a real D1 Quarterback. Until we get one, our offense will flounder.

Like this isn't the coaches' fault. Guess you won't be exalting the greatness of Crowton or Miles if Mettenberg signs, right?

1 mil times over, NOOOOOOOOOOO. Another season with the offense ranked 100 or worse and both should and hopefully will be fired the moment the final game is played in 2011.
