That fact that Joe Burrow and company inexplicably won a championship for that bumbling idiot Orgeron does not change the fact that it was incredibly stupid for LSU to offer him the job when he was a proven loser. He caught lightning in a bottle and after it was over the real Orgeron reared his ugly head in 2020 and 2021.
It was equivalent to the Saints hiring Dennis Allen despite all the losing and red flags that were obvious. Allen just didn’t happen to be the luckiest man on earth like Orgeron was when 2019 happened.
