Just for perspective.
This backs up part of what ForeverLSU5 said in previous posts. He also said he would not be given a show cause but according to the article that has not been ruled on yet.
I think that is a good move for McNeese. Worst case they have to reach out to hire someone of a caliber closer to what you would expect them to get. Best case, they get Wade for a year or two (or a few more) until an option comes up for him that he wants to pursue.
It kind of a win or draw situation for McNeese, no real losing scenario.

Wade is not a great x and o coach. He’s just not. McMahon was damn good at it at his last stop. I’ll give him another year. This team just sucks in terms of talent and I think quit.
Wade is a great recruiter, very average coach. Combined + lack of post season success = pretty good coach.
