We get it, this team sucks. If we hit on some really good portal players for next season and McMahon signs some studs for the following season, who knows.

P-Mac needs major work as well to help with recruiting.

He did not say anything on tape that has positively linked him to paying anyone,
and he was paying blackmail money to someone who had incriminating evidence
supposedly of payoffs at another school. That is not translated into violations
at LSU. Therefore it is a no contest. No evidence,no transgressions. Woodward

Maybe playing hard nosed defense. Good offense is great. But it only took us so far. 1 sec title. Never past the sweet 16. He only had a .625 winning percentage in sec play. Listen bro I love LSU with every breath in my being. We’re in the predicament we are now directly because of Wade. He went in dry bro.

If it came down to eliminating the MBB program completely to help the football program in even the slightest way, I would be completely okay with that. I've been a football fan since Hillman was our QB. Only sports that matter to me happen OUTSIDE. I care about our basketball team as much as our boxing team and hockey team. Sorry my preferences bother you.

Listen bro it is what it is. Wade left us in the predicament we are now. Move on. Maybe if he would have won more he might still be here. Force the admins to keep him. But he wasn’t that great. Move on and support the kids that we have right now. They certainly need us.

I was born in 1969. I have followed LSU football and men's basketball since 1977 RELIGIOUSLY when my parents took me to a few games, and my ear was GLUED to 1150 WJBO listening to the Tigers (except for the rare games we were on TV).

As a kid growing up in the 80s, IT BROKE MY HEART that Dale never won a title. I LOVED (and still do), the LSU basketball program. Those mid 80s teams were special, and you did a great job of describing how they played. They DESERVED to win a title, but fell short.

Also, that 1981 team was going to win the title, and I believe that with every fiber of my being. Most of us know the Macklin injury prevented that. Most objective observers would tell you going into the tournament that LSU was winning this. Players stayed longer back then, good teams matured together, and March Madness wasn't a thing with the crazy upsets just yet.

After writing all that, you do realize that today, Dale never would have made it to a fifth season, right?? He would have been canned for not winning.

The bottom line is we had a winner here in Wade. And he was willing to get dirty with all the other schools who are. Just like Dale did by the way. Those LSU players you described in the 80s had money to spend and we're driving BEAUTIFUL cars (with no legitimate way to pay for them).

I don't understand people who claim to be LSU fans that don't support Wade. YOU HAVE GOT TO DO what he was doing or you have a Trent Johnson program.

I PROMISE YOU, if he had stayed here 25 years like Dale did, he would have accomplished more. And I am FAR from a Dale Brown hater. I LOVED that man and his program when I was growing up.
