Putting Newman in the #3 would be an absolute coaching disaster and I'm confident Mainieri knows this.
Doug Norman deserves a shot he's been greatly underutilized, when he gets in a grove he gets quick outs perfect for a Sunday spot.

I'd definitely like to see Norman get a shot as well. Valek starting Tuesday night would be ideal.
