he does deserve it due to his stats and play on the field but because of his suspension off the field he for sure wont get an invite.

He was not suspended.

He's going to NYC regardless. He is a finalist for another award.

The other awards are given out in Orlando.

I'm not so sure. Des was trying to implore voters to consider last season when they voted for LaMichael James to be there after being suspended. Also, Cam won the damn thing with all the controversy surrounding him. TM7's transgression don't even register on that radar.

I disagree... I think that Robert Griffin III's last-minute heroics vs. Oklahoma was THE Heisman moment of the season, and that's why I think he will win it.

Also this. That play played a gigantic impact on this season if you look back. Took OU out of the BCSCG picture and really took OSU out too and sent Bama to the game. That play had huge implications.

I think Tyrann should get invited..he'll finish 4th which would be best for an LSU player in 30 years or so, and RG3 should win it

Yes, I think he will.

Desmond and Kurt both showed tonight, what I think will be the prevailing opinion.

He'll get an invite, but he won't win.

I think he'll be invited and finish 4th. Im interested though to see how many 1st place votes he gets after hearing guys like Desmond Howard and Herbstreit say he's #1 on their ballots.

very interesting topic.
he deserves as many awards as the awards that are offered to any defensive player in college football thats for sure.
im sure he wont stress about it.

this team is only after one thing right now, and thats the ultimate award....that ring!!!

If Badger doesn't win it I hope Richardson does so he can fatten up on the Heisman banquet circuit.

Tiger Athletic Foundation - A support group that is involved in improving LSU's athletic facilities, as well as building new facilities that the Athletic Department would like to see added. They're already responsible for the East and West upper decks, and are tackling the replacement of the old windows in the old dorm rooms in Tiger Stadium.

You should join. It might be the best thing that you could do to help support LSU, other than sending your kid to the school, and paying the tuition.
