Can you imagine how much was lost in donations because Alleva is such a screwball? Not saying athletics had no money beforehand, but with a guy like Woodward coming in you would think we’ll start seeing a lot more money coming back in that was lost throughout the idiotic handling of the Will Wade situation. What a great day for LSU athletics!

Great start, but they still have to remove the head of the snake for that to happen imo.

Think donations return when King retires/steps down. Heard from alumnus they are about 34% down in fund raising

Well 2 people in the alleva stepping down thread said they’d donate $1k each if we hired woodward. Hopefully they hold up their end

I'm so sick of this crap. Stop making excuses to not donate to your alma mater. If F King leaves, you'll find someone else to complain about and use that to justify not donating for another decade.

Joe Alleva is gone, F King signed off on it. Go be happy and start donating again- the school needs the donations!

Sorry, but I want what's best for my alma mater, and I refuse to support incompetent leaders driving the school off a cliff.

King signed off on it, but didn't have anything to do with it. He tanked our chances with Jimbo in 2015 and is primarily responsible for the Wade fiasco. His handling of the academic institution isn't any better.

I'm not donating a dime until he's gone.

Jimbo is trash, and your $5 donation won’t hurt them.

Weak.

Once he is gone you'll complain about the next LSU President or even the Governor. Maybe some Regent or Chancellor-whatever works to keep LSU last in terms of SEC endowment!

How has F King mishandled the academic institution (his main job)?

Look, I get that the oil industry isn't what it used to be, so many people in the state/region don't have as much money to donate. Just be honest about it.

Hopefully the university will be able to educate new talent to create jobs in other fields outside of oil for the state. I donate to support that effort.

I really doubt that donations have suffered one bit. Most of the high donors are football guys and this flash in the pan from basketball hasn't changed that at all. Most of the folks doing all of the bitching on the internet likely don't donate much anyway.

I already let go of several of our seats in Tiger Stadium this year, no way to get them back.. was worth it though if , combined with others doing same, it had the cumulative effect of getting Alleva replaced with Woody.. Hopefully, FKA is next to go.
