Will Tex A&M expose Blake Baker's defense for a third time in a row?

We know how Baker goes to his bread and butter soft prevent defense when faced with a mobile qb. He loves to have his corners 10 yards off the receivers. I think Tex A&M is down this year and I think the defense will play better especially after giving up 427 total yards to Ole Miss. Thoughts?

This is not true. Yes we played soft coverage last week but that was not something we did last year. Also, Reed killed us in the run game the past two years....

Well, maybe as a receiver but not by much, but Bussey was also used on running plays and returned both punts and kickoffs.

I'll premise my opinion by saying I like Baker, and I liked the hire.
But to pretend like the running QB has not been an Achilles heel for him is putting your head in the sand.
Now it's been said that it has always been a talent issue when this rears it's ugly head. I thought we had pretty good talent on D last year, but we'll see Saturday cause this dude flat out embarrassed us the last two years, this will be the litmus test to see if it was all about the dudes.

Every single offense with a running quarterback has exposed Baker so far. I don’t know why I would expect any difference this time.

No offense, but I don’t put last season on him. Look at what happened in the second half of that game? Our offense didn’t do jack and hurt us because the defense was on the field the entire second half making it possible for them to come back.

Spears getting hurt killed the defense. They took advantage of jimcoily and they feasted. While Green also getting hurt sealed our fate in that game because we desperately needed him on that last drive to try and tie it.

Kentucky also gashed their d-line multiple times. Jones went over a hundred against Ole Miss and we're reportedly making changes on the o-line. I expect us to run the ball effectively and that will take some pressure off Sam. It's all about stopping Reed.
