This may have been discussed, but there are so many long threads now that I am going to just goose-step a little and burn a book or two.

Will there be any limits on student tickets for this game?

How many student do we typically average per game?

Is there a chance letting more of them in at a decent price will fill in some of the voids in the lower bowl? How many above the average is realistic?

If the students turn out in greater number and the walk-up crowd shows up, we could at least get the lower bowl looking decent.

The students can hardly fill the student section. Not to mention, a lot of students that are not from Baton Rouge probably plan to go home on away game weekends.

Wat

I was literally on the top row the last two games and my row was overflowing.

Auburn during the early 3rd quarter

I think these tickets are 5 bucks a pop for students. Something even the starving students should be able to afford.

There should be a good turnout. Especially if mid terms are over. Not sure if they are or not.

Plus on social media it's been a love fest between USCe and LSU students. We're excited.

A big, rowdy student section armed with their "water bottles" would help make up some of the noise deficit.

They extended the student ticket deadline. Earlier today they said 6,000 students had bought tickets. 14,000 is the normal allotment.

This doesn't go for everyone, but my teachers decided to schedule important stuff during weeks after away games... I have a midterm on Monday, a midterm on Tuesday, a 10+ page lab report due Wednesday, and a presentation on Thursday. All for different classes, and I'm a graduating senior only taking 4 classes Of course I'm still going to the game, but it's looking like this could be my first sober game in Tiger Stadium in 4 years.

It gets much more sparse as you move under the scoreboard. I understand that a lot of the space is due to the students cramming in down low, but do you really think the Auburn game is a good indicator? That was the home opener against an SEC opponent. Of course it is going to be full for that game. It certainly wasn't that full last week. I'm just saying it's silly to think that the students that already don't feel like going to the game will now go. Let's face it, if you are not a freshmen, it's not very hard to get football tickets, and even then, if you really want to go you can find a way.

Good! I'd like to have the stadium packed for LSU purposes, but also because that means some more money for SC.
